Why It Matters?
In the past year, we’ve seen clear limitations in the crypto credit market. Many have to do with the inability to underwrite accurately along with a limited types of collateral that were available to post on-chain.
The availability of on-chain treasury products not only means we have a proximate “risk-free” rate on chain but also that we can begin the first on-chain actions that mirror repo market activity - a market that reaches trillions of USD in funding per day.
